Henties Juices Cape CC was found in 1998 by Hentie De Wet, his wife Maryke and her brother Nico Burden. Initially the juice was supplied to small shops and cafes in Stellenbosch, Cape Town and rural areas. People loved our juices and demand increased so much that a bigger production plant was needed, so in 1999 Henties moved into a bigger premises in Stikland.

Intensive marketing by the three directors resulted in the opening of further offices and depots in Port Elizabeth and George. Our products are now available all along the West Coast, throughout the Western and Eastern Cape and Karoo regions.

We have partnered with a distributor in Namibia. They will deliver all Henties products throughout Namibia.

In July 2006, the Saxenburg plant was built and fitted with the most recent bottling technologies. This facility also serves as the Head office. We are increasing our distribution into provinces across South Africa, and we are negotiating exports into Africa and overseas.

We have a wide range of beverages including 100% fruit juice, nectars, lite nectars and still water. We have just introduced sophisticated sparkling grape; apple juices and secret recipe braai sauce.

Airlink's origins are rooted in three small airlines, Magnum Airlines, Border Air and City Air, which merged to form Link Airways in the '80s. Subsequently, Link Airways was liquidated in 1992. After Rodger Foster and Barrie Webb, the two founders, had successfully bid for the business, they named the newly acquired airline 'Airlink'.

The airline has developed into South Africa's first feeder network, specifically aimed at linking the smaller towns, the regional centres and hubs throughout South Africa.

In 1997 SA Airlink joined South African Airways and South African Express in a powerful strategic alliance which led to the establishment of the leading aviation network in Africa.

Airlink is the largest independent regional airline in southern Africa, connecting you to the widest network and choice of flights in Southern Africa and St Helena Island, utilising a fleet of Grand Cessna Caravan 208BEX, Jetstream 41 aircraft, Embraer ERJ 135/140/145 jet aircraft, BAe RJ85 aircraft, Embraer E-Jet 170 and Embraer E-Jet 190.

The airline currently carries approx 1 800 000 passengers annually by way of approx 60 000 flight missions. Airlink is proud to note that, despite fluctuations in the country’s economy, it has shown growth in every single year of its existence. Our passenger profile represents 40% leisure and 60% business.

Airlink is a member of IATA - The International Air Transport Association. IATA is the trade association for airlines across the globe. IATA supports many areas of aviation activity and help formulate industry policy on critical aviation issues. IATA assists airlines to operate safely, securely, efficiently and economically under clearly defined rules.

Airlink obtained its fourth consecutive IATA Operational Safety Certificate - IOSA- after successful audits from 2012.

In June 2012, a 32.51% stake of the company changed hands in a landmark broad-based black economic empowerment transaction. The new investor is the Sishen Iron Ore Company Community Development Trust ('SIOC-cdt'), which made the acquisition through its investment arm, Sishen Iron Ore Company Community Development Trust Investment Holdings.

In September 2018, Airlink obtained its IATA Operational Safety Certificate - IOSA- after successful audits.
