JPPF meeting

A Joint Procurement Planning Forum (JPPF) meeting for PURCO SA members' senior procurement and finance executives will be held on 29 October at the Century City Conference Centre. The JPPF will start at 10h00 and run to 15h30. Lunch will be served. The JPPF is a national forum and consists of all the procurement managers of PURCO SA member institutions. It has a strategic focus and plays an advisory role on procurement matters to both the PURCO SA office and the Board of Directors. The Forum is chaired by the CEO of PURCO SA and operates by way of member advisory committees and working groups. The Forum meets on a quarterly basis.

Sponsored JPPF delegate 

PURCO SA will sponsor one free JPPF attendee per member institution. The sponsorship includes the JPPF meeting, dinner, and accommodation at the TsogoSun StayEasy Hotel on the night of 29 October. Delegates may pay the price difference to upgrade to a more expensive hotel.

Additional attendees

PURCO SA members may book additional staff to attend the JPPF meeting. Costs are:

Terms and conditions

Supplier attendance
Suppliers may only attend the event if they are exhibitors. All staff manning an exhibition stand or attending the event must register.

Non contracted suppliers
Suppliers who do not have current contracts with PURCO SA may apply to exhibit. A 10% additional fee will be levied.

Changes
All changes will incur a R125.00 fee per change.

Payment due before event
Payment is due within 30 days but no later than 30 September. All bookings will be provisional until payment is received. Unpaid bookings will automatically be released, but are subject to cancellation penalties if applicable. Immediate payment is required for bookings after 30 September. Late payments will be subject to a 10% penalty.

Cancellation of exhibition stands and staff bookings
Replacements are allowed at any time. Cancellations will incur a R125 fee plus the following penalties:

  • 60+ days prior to event: 10% cancellation fee
  • 31 to 59 days prior to event: 50% cancellation fee
  • Up to 30 days prior to event: 100% cancellation fee.
